|23rd NEAL-NET Technical Meeting Held in Yokohama, Japan|
From March 15th to 16th, 2018, the 23rd NEAL-NET Technical Meeting was held in Yokohama, Japan. Mr.Deng Yanjie, vice chairman of NEAL-NET China, led Chinese team to participate the meeting and discuss with the relevant government representatives and technical experts from Japan and South Korea on the logistics information cooperation.
About port interconnection, the three countries have completed the testing of eight new ports which are the North Sea, Qinzhou, Fangcheng, Zhuhai, Pyeongtaek, Ulsan, Niigata, and Yokkaichi, and will complete the official announcement in mid-May, 2018.
About standard development, the Chinese side proposed new data items such as dangerous goods, FCL and container net weights according to user needs, which was recognized by Japan and South Korea. The Chinese side also suggested that NEAL-NET cooperate with relevant international organizations to carry out researches on international logistics information standards.
About international cooperation, China introduced the progress of cooperation with Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia, and invited Japan and South Korea to jointly carry out interconnection and cooperation with international ports and international organizations in order to provide NEAL-NET users with a more comprehensive and accurate port logistics information inquiry service.
